When my Grandparents arrived in New Zealand, from Scotland, they first settled in Wyndham.
A few years later, when they left to live in Gisborne, they were presented with this silver watch, which is engraved:
"Presented to (name withheld) by a few friends as a mark of esteem. Wyndham September 15th 1891".

Why donít we do nice things like that now?
