Taonga Te Whenua
First uses of the land and sea in Porirua. Images, dioramas and information depict life in the first 500 years of Porirua's history. This exhibition tells the story of how food was gathered from the open waters of the Tasman Sea and the inner harbours of Porirua as well its cultivated lands.
